CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WAKS/CLEVELAND announced today the launch of its new HD-2 side channel, "KiWi Radio," which will feature popular tunes geared toward a teenage audience, like songs from "High School Musical" and "Hanna Montana."
KiWi Radio originated from CLEAR CHANNEL's Format Lab channels and was created by WAKS & WMMS PD BO MATTHEWS, who said, "There is a huge passion with this young audience, and no FM radio stations are playing these titles. The songs and artists are huge to the Tween audience. HD RADIO and kisscleveland.com allows us to give this audience what they want."
