WMKL/Miami Moving Up The Dial
March 6, 2007 at 6:59 AM (PT)
Christian Rock WMKL (THE CALL 91.7)/MIAMI received expedited approval from the FCC to change frequency from 91.7 to 91.9 to eliminate the interference with the public safety antenna system co-located on its radio tower.
The receiving interference due to the frequency conflict has restricted WMKL from transmitting a full-power, full-volume signal for several weeks. On some radios, the audio was so quiet that it sounded as if the station was off air.
