CUMULUS MEDIA Classic Rock KQRS/MINNEAPOLIS PD JAMES KURDZEIL has been promoted to VP/Classic Rock. KURDZIEL, who will continue programming KQRS along with his new corporate duties, replaces WADE LINDER, who remains PD at Classic Hits WLS-F/CHICAGO and will handle special projects for CUMULUS' corporate programming team.

Chief Content Officer BRIAN PHILIPS said, “JAMES has met the challenge of refining, and redefining, the elements of Classic Rock. He’s helping to rewrite the rules. He balances a keen respect for heritage with fresh thinking and irreverence. KURDZIEL has quickly become one of the new guiding voices in CUMULUS programming.”
