Noncomm To Move Its Talk Programming To Clear Channel AM

The UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS will move its noncommercial News/Talk AM programming from PAMAL daytimer WPNI-A/AMHERST-SPRINGFIELD, MA to CLEAR CHANNEL Sports WNNZ-A (THE ZONE)/SPRINGFIELD, MA on APRIL 2.
The SPRINGFIELD REPUBLICAN reports that CLEAR CHANNEL will be selling some of the station's underwriting messages under the deal and that the station will continue to carry SPRINGFIELD FALCONS minor league hockey until the season ends in APRIL. UMASS also owns noncommercial News/Talk-Classical WFCR/AMHERST in the market.
