NPR Picks Brittany Luse As New 'It's Been A Minute' Host

NPR has named BRITTANY LUSE as SAM SANDERS' replacement in the hosting role at "IT'S BEEN A MINUTE." LUSE is the co-host of the "FOR COLORED NERDS" podcast and a former host of "THE NOD" and "SAMPLER" podcasts. She will start her new duties on OCTOBER 7th. SANDERS left the show to host a new podcast, "INTO IT," at NEW YORK MAGAZINE and VOX MEDIA PODCAST NETWORK (NET NEWS 3/8, 7/28).

"Over the past five years, IT'S BEEN A MINUTE has become a mainstay for listeners trying to make sense of an increasingly unpredictable cultural landscape," said LUSE. I've spent the entirety of my eight-year hosting career helping audiences to connect the dots between culture and current events, and I look forward to continuing and expanding that work at my new home."
