TAXI PRODUCTIONS Urban AC KJLH/LOS ANGELES is being sued by its former GSM who claims he was fired for raising questions about "plugola" and an alleged sexual harassment incident involving co-owner STEVIE WONDER.
TMZ.COM is reporting that REGINALD THOMAS JR. filed suit for over $3.5 million, naming the station, SVP/GM KAREN SLADE, and WONDER as defendants and alleging that WONDER called a sales associate on her cell phone late at night, and when he asked about the incident, THOMAS says, his boss told him, "You never know who he is f---ing around here. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen." THOMAS also alleges that a client said that it was common knowledge that one had to pay certain station employees off "to do anything on the air" and another client complained of being "shaken down" and not receiving on-air plugs for which he paid.
THOMAS was fired on FEBRUARY 28 and filed suit TUESDAY (3/13).
