Radio Veteran Andrew 'Drew Stone' Lehrer Has Died

Veteran radio programmer/personality ANDREW "DREW STONE" LEHRER has died in TUCSON, AZ after a long battle with kidney disease.
LEHRER started his radio career in 1995 at then-CITADEL Top 40/Rhythmic KWIN/STOCKTON. He then spent four years with then-BUCKLEY Top 40/Rhythmic KHTN (HOT 104.7)/MODESTO-MERCED from 1997-2001. He did two tours at KHTN, rejoining in 2002 after a run at then-CLEAR CHANNEL KRQQ-KOHT/TUCSON. During his second run at KHTN, LEHRER rose to APD/Promotions Dir./morning co-host.
LEHRER left KHTN in JUNE 2006 for a short stint as PD of NEW NORTHWEST Top 40/Rhythmic KFAT/ANCHORAGE, AK. LEHRER then went to TEXAS, where he worked at MY HOME TEAM MEDIA Sports KLHB-A (1055 THE ZONE)/CORPUS CHRISTI as PD and Hot AC KLTG (96.5 THE BEACH) serving as APD/middays. In MAY 2016, he left TEXAS and returned to CALIFORNIA to help care for his ailing mother. After her death, LEHRER moved to TUCSON.
