Cincinnati Gardening Show Host Denny McKeown Dies At 81

Gardening expert DENNY MCKEOWN, who hosted a SATURDAY morning garden show on CINCINNATI radio for several years, died on CHRISTMAS DAY (12/25) at 81.

MCKEOWN hosted the show on WKRC-A for ten years, syndicated to other stations owned by then-CLEAR CHANNEL, before moving to crosstown WGRR in 2004. He also wrote a gardening column for the CINCINNATI ENQUIRER, now written by his son CHRIS. Besides his media work, MCKEOWN owned a garden center in BLUE ASH, OH.
