Country Radio Veteran Tad Svendsen Has Reportedly Died

TAD SVENDSEN, the afternoon host at IDAHO WIRELESS CORPORATION Country KZBQ/POCATELLO, ID; GEORGE S. FLINN JR’s. Country KPPL (THE EAGLE 92.5)/POPLAR BLUFF, MO; and KM COMMUNICATIONS’ Country/Classic Rock hybrid WLCN/ATLANTA, IL, reportedly died on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 28th in DENVER, according to FACEBOOK posts from his friends. He previously did middays at Country KYGO/DENVER.
According to his bio on the WLCN website, “TAD began broadcasting while still a teen at a Country station in SOUTH DAKOTA. He’s gone on to play all kinds of music at stations across the nation, but he always comes home to Country music … TAD is single but hasn’t yet given up. He lives with his border collie GRADY, and just about every gadget he can find.”
