DAN SEEMAN, HUBBARD RADIO VP/Region Manager for MINNESOTA, announced a partnership with renowned TWIN CITIES radio personality TOM BARNARD on a streaming and podcast partnership.
"The TOM BARNARD Morning Show Podcast" will feature live streaming from 7a-10a (CT), MONDAY-FRIDAY, live video, and an audio podcast available 24/7 on-demand. In addition to the website, listeners and fans will also find BARNARD on his own custom app, YOUTUBE and social media.
BARNARD only recently hung up his headphones after 36 years on-air at KQRS/MINNEAPOLIS, where he'd been a mainstay since 1986 (NET NEWS 6/30/22). His final morning broadcast took place FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23rd.
Commented SEEMAN, “This is an incredible opportunity for HUBBARD RADIO. TOM is a local radio legend. With this partnership, his legions of listeners and fans will be able to listen to this iconic personality on multiple digital channels, both live and on-demand.”
BARNARD is both a MINNESOTA and NATIONAL HALL OF FAME broadcaster, and for 37 years has hosted the "TOM BARNARD Morning Show" on KQRS-F. In 2006, he won an NAB MARCONI AWARD for Large Market Personality Of The Year. In 2017, BARNARD was inducted into the national RADIO HALL OF FAME and in 2018 he was inducted into the MINNESOTA BROADCASTERS HALL OF FAME.
Commented BARNARD, “I still love this business and love my listeners and clients. The opportunity with HUBBARD comes at the perfect time in my career, and I look forward to reaching new and old listeners through streaming and podcasting.”
BARNARD’s historic career included an early stint with HUBBARD BROADCASTING 50 years ago when he was hired to do nights on KSTP.
Added TOM, “I am absolutely honored to end my career right here where it started, with the HUBBARD family and HUBBARD BROADCASTING."
