Veteran Southern California Air Personality Benny Martinez Has Died

Veteran LOS ANGELES, SAN DIEGO, and RIVERSIDE air personality BENNY MARTINEZ (AGUAYO) has died in LOS ANGELES. 

MARTINEZ, an L.A. native, started his radio career in EL CENTRO, CA in 1976. MARTINEZ' resume included stops at KIIS, KFI, KRTH, KUTE, KHTZ/LOS ANGELES, KSDO/SAN DIEGO, KGGI/RIVERSIDE and later nationally at WESTWOOD ONE.

A memorial gathering for MARTINEZ is in the planning stages and will be announced.
