K-Pop Band NCT 127 To Appear On Roblox Virtual Event Experience

K-Pop group NCT 127 will be celebrating “127” Day, a special anniversary for their fans on JANUARY 27th (1/27), with a virtual event on ROBLOX, an immersive 3D platform. 

The free NCT 127 Concert Experience is the first for a K-Pop band on ROBLOX. With nine band members performing virtually, the concert also represents the largest ever official group performance by any band on ROBLOX.

In addition, The NCT 127 Concert Experience will feature limited avatar item drops inspired by the band’s looks and dances, a neon SEOUL city-themed environment and obby (obstacle course), and a metaverse scavenger hunt spanning multiple ROBLOX experiences.

The NCT 127 Concert Experience, created in collaboration with development studio DUBIT, opened yesterday and free virtual performances by the band will run from JANUARY 27th through the 29th.

NCT 127 released the following statement: “127 Day is so special to us because it is all about connecting with our amazing fans from around the world, and what better way to do that than to perform to millions of you all at the same time on ROBLOX. Wherever you are in the world, come and join us for a concert performance like no other."

NCT 127 recently announced their upcoming release “Ay-Yo,” a repackaged version of their fourth studio album “(2 Baddies).: Arriving on JANUARY 30th, “Ay-Yo” will feature three brand-new tracks, including its title track by the same name. The physical album is set to release on MARCH 3rd in the U.S.

In DECEMBER, NCT 127 announced that they would be touring the U.S. and SOUTH AMERICA. The U.S. portion wrapped last week, and the SOUTH AMERICA run begins JANUARY 18th in SAO PAULA, BRAZIL and concludes on JANUARY 28th in MEXICO CITY.
