Mississippi Public Broadcasting Radio Adds Weather Channel Forecasts

MISSISSIPPI PUBLIC BROADCASTING has picked up THE WEATHER CHANNEL RADIO NETWORK for local weather reports for its eight stations.
"MISSISSIPPI PUBLIC BROADCASTING proved itself as a dependable provider of statewide weather and emergency information during HURRICANE KATRINA," said MPB Exec. Director MARIE ANTOON. "We are committed to provide the same level of service for tornados, thunderstorms, floods, and everyday forecasts. MPB’s partnership with the WEATHER CHANNEL ensures that all Mississippians will receive the best level of service statewide available on the radio."
