BUSINESSTALKRADIO.NET INC. has purchased Talk WURP-A/BRADDOCK-PITTSBURGH from INNER CITY BROADCASTING INC. in a deal announced by the buyer MONDAY (3/19).
The buyer owns KNUU-A/LAS VEGAS, WXBR-A/BOSTON, and WGCH-A/GREENWICH, CT and is buying three HAMPTONS-RIVERHEAD stations from THE MOREY ORGANIZATION/JARAD BROADCASTING CO., and will air its own network programming plus local shows on the station, which presently runs a "hot talk" format as "1550 AM THE EDGE." No price was given for the deal.
FRANK BOYLE AND CO. served as broker for the transaction.

STEPHAN ANDRES MELGAR is selling his 50% share of CROCODILE BROADCASTING CO., licensee of Spanish Tropical KGLA-A (TROPICAL 1540)/GRETNA-NEW ORLEANS, to ERNESTO SCHWEIKERT III for $245,000, giving SCHWEIKERT 100% of the company.
SALEM COMMUNICATIONS' REACH SATELLITE NETWORK INC. is selling Contemporary Christian WVRY (LIFE 105.1)/WAVERLY, TN (west of NASHVILLE) to GRACE BROADCASTING SERVICES INC. for $900,000 cash.
