'DeDe In The Morning’ Giving Away Scholarships For Black History Month

During BLACK HISTORY MONTH, COMPASS MEDIA's syndicated DEDE IN THE MORNING’s DEDE MCGUIRE is once again giving away five $2,500 tuition scholarships for study at a HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGES & UNIVERSITIES (HBCUs).

MCGUIRE said, “BLACK HISTORY MONTH is about recognizing our legacy and contributions to society. What better way to continue that legacy than with a scholarship that furthers education at one of the 100 HBCU campuses.”

Throughout the month, THE DEDE MCGUIRE FOUNDATION is promoting the “ACHIEVE THE DREAM” scholarships on all of her COMPASS affiliate stations and on the show’s hub location, SERVICE BROADCASTING Urban KKDA (K104)/DALLAS. Submissions are due by FEBRUARY 28th and scholarships will be announced on MARCH 6th.
