March 20, 2007 at 1:29 PM (PT)
ANIMAL RADIO is stepping up its live coverage of the largest pet-food recall in history. Since last weekend, over a dozen animals have died and many were sickened by more than 105 brands of tainted cat and dog food.
"This is major!" says ANIMAL RADIO Exec. Producer HAL ABRAMS. "We haven't had our news crews so active since KATRINA. And speak about close-to-home, we suspect one of our studio cats has been sick because of the recalled food, and we're committed to broadcasting each breaking story so that our listeners are educated and current."
The nationally syndicated ANIMAL RADIO airs on 93 radio stations nationwide and in independent pet stores on the PETVISION NETWORK and streams 24/7 at AnimalRadio.com.
