New Mexico Lobos Ink Deal With Learfield

The UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO inks a deal with LEARFIELD SPORTS to handle local TV and radio rights. The deal runs through 2015 and heralds the launch of LOBO SPORTS PROPERTIES by LEARFIELD to take over radio rights in 2008-09.
The ALBUQUERQUE TRIBUNE reports that CITADEL Talk KKOB-A and Sports KNML-A are slated to ink deals with LEARFIELD to continue as the flagship stations for LOBOS sports. UNM Associate AD DARREN DUNN will serve as GM of LOBO SPORTS PROPERTIES, with UNM Ass't. Dir./Sales & Marketing JOE WEISS named AE for the new venture.
