SPRINT NEXTEL CORP. is delivering new pricing and offerings that will make mobile music more affordable than before. The company said that beginning early APRIL, the SPRINT MUSIC STORE will offer songs at 99 cents, down from the current price of $2.50, and that the price is valid for every song in its library of more than 1.5 million songs.
SPRINT MUSIC provides songs from EMI MUSIC, SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT, WARNER MUSIC GROUP, UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP and thousands of independent labels distributed by GROOVE MOBILE and IODA.
Additionally, SPRINT will introduce SPRINT MUSIC MANAGER, which will allow users to transfer songs from a PC to a cell phone using a USB cable. It would also enable digital music to be managed in one place on the PC through an intuitive interface.
