Samsung To Battle Apple In Online Music Space

SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS plans to enter the online music business with a service similar to APPLE's popular iTUNES MUSIC STORE. SAMSUNG head of Digital Media Business CHOI GEE-SUNG said that SAMSUNG will cooperate with several partners, both foreign and donestic, in developing the service, but didn't say when it would be launched.
SAMSUNG expects to sell 3.7 million MP3 players this year, double last year's total, with CHOI saying SAMSUNG MP3 players were superior to APPLE's but suffered for not having a music service. For more on this from YAHOO.COM, just click here.
