MAINQUAD COMMUNICATIONS INC. is selling Silent WHAP-A/HOPEWELL-PETERSBURG-RICHMOND, VA to PRESTON T. BROWN's P.T. BROWN BROADCASTING CO. INC. for $150,000 ($148,000 in a promissory note). The buyer's WORLD MEDIA BROADCAST CO. owns Urban Oldies-Variety WCLM-A/RICHMOND.
In other deals filed with the FCC, DAVIDSON MEDIA is buying Regional Mexican WFMO-A (RADIO FIESTA 860 AM)/FAIRMONT, NC from PRO-MEDIA INC. for $400,000. WFMO, which DAVIDSON currently operates under a time brokerage agreement, has a construction permit to change city of license to CONWAY, SC and to increase from 1,000 to 50,000 watts daytime and from 12 to 740 watts at night.
And BERRY ENTERTAINMENT INC. sells Adult Standards KLKI-A/ANACORTES, WA to JENNIFER and ROBERT UTEDA for $760,000 ($380,000 in a promissory note).
