XM Canada, Rogers Ink Wireless Content Deal

As part of an agreement between the two companies, XM CANADA is providing provide content to be distributed through telecom giant ROGERS COMMUNICATIONS' wireless, cable and Internet products. The new service provides wireless customers with up to 25 channels of XM commercial-free music programming, as well as comedy, sports, entertainment and talk, the companies said.
"This is an incredible opportunity to expand the reach of satellite radio," XM CANADA Chairman/CEO JOHN BITOVE said. "With ROGERS products available throughout CANADA, we will now reach more Canadians than ever before, and this agreement provides us new avenues for awareness and revenue growth."
