BAKA BOYZ HIP-HOP MASTERMIX Executive Producer J-LOVE is exiting his position as morning show producer-mixer at BEASLEY Top 40/Rhythmic WPOW (POWER 96)/MIAMI to join the BAKA BOYZ at their new home station MEC NETWORK Top 40/Rhythmic XMOR (BLAZIN 98.9)/SAN DIEGO.
J-LOVE had been producer of the BAKA BOYZ morning show at CLEAR CHANNEL Urban WMIB (103.5 THE BEAT)/MIAMI before segueing to WPOW and the DJ LAZ MORNING PIMP SHOW. In a press release, MEC NETWORK OM/Brand & Marketing, LEE CORNELL, commented on the hiring of J-LOVE saying, "J. completes the equation at morning drive with the BAKA BOYZ on BLAZIN’, and will add a lot musically, in production, and in unique content to the brand and their show. J. is at the top of his game. He's done a brilliant job with POWER, but his home is the West Coast and he also has family here in SAN DIEGO."
A debut date at XMOR for the BAKA BOYZ has not been announced, although they will host THE STREET DREAM TOUR, APRIL 28 in SAN DIEGO featuring YOUNG JEEZY, JIM JONES, FAT JOE, LIL’ WAYNE, BABY and RICH BOY.
