'Jersey Guys' Target Corrupt Politicians

If a NEW JERSEY political boss can create a "Coalition Against Bigotry and Hate" to battle against MILLENIUM Talk WKXW & WXKW (NEW JERSEY 101.5)/TRENTON's "JERSEY GUYS" afternoon show, the least JERSEY GUYS CRAIG CARTON and RAY ROSSI could do is fight right back with a coalition of their own, and that's exactly what they're doing: the "Coalition Against Corrupt Politicians," the GUYS' new campaign to target NEW JERSEY's notoriously corrupt power structure, is asking listeners to report politicians taking part in "despicable acts such as bribery, fraud, pension padding, nepotism, cronyism and other mischievous acts."
Callers and e-mailers can anonymously forward tips to the new organization, and the JERSEY GUYS are promising to send the tips along to the proper authorities and to use the state's Open Public Records Act to find the truth. The coalition includes some prominent politicians from both parties, including CARTON and ROSSI's former sworn enemy, former acting Governor and Democratic State Senate President DICK CODEY, as well as G.O.P. Chairman TOM WILSON and Republican State Senator and former NEW JERSEY NETWORK and KYW-TV/PHILADELPHIA anchor DIANE ALLEN.
The GUYS were targeted by State Senator RAYMOND LESNIAK (D-UNION) last month over their stance on illegal immigration, with the longtime legislator forming the "Coalition Against Bigotry and Hate" to campaign against the show and station, a group CARTON renamed the "Coalition Against Free Speech."
