Setting The New Lineups In Ft. Wayne

On THURSDAY (4/12), FT WAYNE RADIO CORP. flipped Regional Mexican WSHY (EL SOL 106.3)/FT. WAYNE to Rhythmic Oldies 106.3 THE VIBE, Classic Dance. PHIL BECKER, Director/Programming at Top 40/Rhythmic WJFX (HOT 107.9), is also programming 106.3 THE VIBE. BECKER is holding down mornings for the new station. KEITH HARRIS is in for middays, while WJFX afternooner RANDY ALOMAR flips over to do afternoons for 106.3 THE VIBE. JACK HOLIDAY is THE VIBE night guy, and JOEL HOFFMAN does late nights, also coming over from the HOT 107.9 staff.
At WJFX, APD/MD WEASEL continues as morning man and CHRIS CRUISE remains the night jock. New to the WJFX lineup are middayer MIA, formerly of WBTS/ATLANTA, and PIERRE, from WPYO/ORLANDO. PIERRE, who worked with BECKER at WPYO, is doing afternoons at WJFX.
