Station Sales: Florida FM Pair, Minnesota Spin

PAMAL's JABLAMO LICENSE HOLDINGS LLC is selling two FLORIDA stations -- Oldies WRGO (FUN 102.7)/CEDAR KEY and Country WYNY (simulcast of WDVH)/CROSS CITY -- to RICHARD S. POPE's WRGO RADIO LLC for $900,000 including a $550,000 promissory note.
In more deals filed with the FCC, JOHN LINDER's KMHL BROADCASTING COMPANY is spinning off Classic Hits KNSG (simulcast of KDOG [THE DOG])/SPRINGFIELD, MN to BRUCE LINDER's SPRINGFIELD RADIO INC. for $500,000. Yesterday, JOHN LINDER filed to buy Classic Rock KXLP/NEW ULM-MANKATO, MN in a spinoff from THREE EAGLES COMMUNICATIONS' deal with CLEAR CHANNEL for $3,132,500.
THE RIVER BROADCASTING COMPANY INC. is selling Hot AC WIQQ (Q-102), Easy Listening WBAQ (EZ 98), and Oldies WNIX-A/GREENVILLE, MS to DEBUT BROADCASTING INC. (formerly THE MARKETING GROUP) for $1 million plus a payment for certain accounts receivable.
ABC has begun to file the paperwork with the FCC to transfer the radio properties it is retaining after the ABC RADIO-CITADEL merger -- the ESPN RADIO and RADIO DISNEY O&Os -- to its CIRCLE LOCATION SERVICES INC. subsidiary. Papers were filed this week to move ESPN RADIO affiliates KSPN-A/LOS ANGELES, KESN/DALLAS, and RADIO DISNEY affiliates KDIS-A/LOS ANGELES and KDIZ-A/MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL to the ABC subsidiary in anticipation of the sale of non-ESPN or RADIO DISNEY facilities to the CITADEL entity.
And KANSAS CITY CATHOLIC RADIO NETWORK has closed on its purchase of Religion KFEL-A/PUEBLO, CO from ALLEN BICKLE's WELLSPRINGS HARVEST MINISTRIES for $450,000. The buyer also owns Religion daytimer KEXS-A/EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, MO-KANSAS CITY and KAHS-A/EL DORADO, KS-WICHITA. JOHN PIERCE AND CO.'s JAMIE RASNICK served as exclusive broker for the deal.
