MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO AAA KCMP (92.3 THE CURRENT)/MINNEAPOLIS is asking listeners to pick an entire day of music for the first-ever "RADIO FREE CURRENT," set for MAY 1.
Starting today (4/23), KCMP listeners can upload three song sets online.
Next TUESDAY, KCMP will turn the station over to its listeners from 9a-11p by spinning the most popular and interesting listener requests.
KCMP PD STEVE NELSON said, "We created 'RADIO FREE CURRENT' to give our audience another way in to THE CURRENT community. THE CURRENT would not exist without the community that supports it, so we want to interact with that community in as many ways as we can."
