The NEW YORK POST reports that former SIMON & SCHUSTER CEO DICK SNYDER has threatened to sue WARNER MUSIC GROUP CEO EDGAR BRONFMAN JR. for more than $100 million, claiming he helped BRONFMAN to negotiate the takeover of WMG in 2003 but was never paid for his services.
BRONFMAN's lawyers have called the claims "absolute fiction. DICK SNYDER did not work on the WARNER MUSIC GROUP transaction, and there was never an agreement to compensate him for anything."
SNYDER's lawyer has not yet commented.
