COHAN RADIO GROUP/SEBRING has named 40-year radio vet and former WSYN/MYRTLE BEACH, SC PD/afternoon host LES HOWARD JACOBY OM of its five-station cluster, replacing JIM KELLY. In addition to handling OM duties for AC WWLL, Country WWOJ, Oldies WJCM-A, News/Talk WWTK-A, and Nostalgia WITS-A, HOWARD will also handle PD/afternoon duties for LITE 105.7.
COHAN President PETE COUGHLIN said, "I am delighted to have LES here. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our stations and is a great addition to our staff in SEBRING."
According to HOWARD, "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with PETE COUGHLIN, as well as the entire COHAN family. And to return home to FLORIDA is icing on the cake."
HOWARD's career also includes stops at other legendary FLORIDA stations including WJQY (JOY 107)/MIAMI, WFLZ/TAMPA, and WEAT (SUNNY 104.3)/WEST PALM BEACH. He has also worked in GAINESVILLE and LAKELAND, FL; RALEIGH; and MEMPHIS.
