EMI MUSIC, which earlier this month announced it would allow DRM-free versions of its tracks to be sold on ITUNES, has made two senior digital appointments.
MARK NICHOLS and MATTHEW CROSSWAITE have both been appointed to the position of VP/Business Development within the global digital team. The newly formed roles will see them take responsibility for identifying and handling sources of revenue from digital as well as building relationships with key digital contacts.
NICHOLS joins from 3 UK, where he was Dir./Content & Partnerships. CROSSWAITE joins from EMI MUSIC UK, where he held the position of VP/Commercial Digital Media.
