Former TIME WARNER GLOBAL MEDIA GROUP VP/Client Partnerships TAMMY GREENBERG is joining the RAB as SVP/Marketing, effective MAY 7. GREENBERG will work on the "Key Advertiser Focus" initiative to get advertisers to steer more dollars into radio.
"TAMMY is a quick study and has a brilliant creative ability," says RAB Pres./CEO JEFF HALEY. "She has a proven track record of developing marketing-based partnerships and programs that foster revenue growth. Our board has asked that the RAB move deliberately in this area, and TAMMY will play a major role in the effort."
"I’m excited to join radio at a key juncture in its history and look forward to working across the industry for the benefit of advertisers and radio broadcasters alike," said GREENBERG.
GREENBERG's addition comes as the final draft of a new RAB strategic plan has been presented to the RAB board's Executive Committee. The "road map" for the organization's next few years addresses the three stated key priorities for the RAB, enhancing the marketing of radio in the media marketplace, improving the transaction process for radio, and embracing new visions for growth.
