The Latest Consumer Behavior From Bridge Ratings

As part of BRIDGE RATINGS’ ongoing media consumer behavior research, new data has been released about Internet activity in addition to media consumption including:
* American’s use of webcams
* How podcasting impacts terrestrial radio listening
* An updated list of Gen-Y’s favorite websites
* Internet radio listeners’ media consumption
Of the podcasting findings, PRES./CEO DAVE VAN DYKE makes this observation: "There’s good news and bad when looking at podcasting and its impact on terrestrial radio. The good: We see a clear link between repeated listener consumption of podcasts of terrestrial radio personalities which increases weekly tune-in and loyalty. However, podcasting is still not as widely used as we would hope. There is an unnatural barrier to ease-of-use for the average listener. This is limiting podcast growth."
