CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO Sr. VP DAVE CROWL today announced the retirement of LARRY ROSMILSO, Market Manager for the company’s QUAD CITIES and DAVENPORT stations. ROSMILSO will retire effective MAY 31.
“CLEAR CHANNEL’s success in the QUAD CITIES has been built by the vision and leadership of LARRY ROSMILSO," CROWL said. "After 25 great years, he has arrived at a point where he can stop, smell the roses and enjoy his family and grandchildren. LARRY has had a positive influence on the lives and careers of a vast number of radio professionals in the QUAD CITIES. And as he leaves he has formed a great team of managers who will continue to set the table for even greater success going forward into the future. LARRY is an icon in the QUAD CITIES. We will miss his wonderful passion for radio and wish him all the best in the coming years.”
“I have mixed emotions about leaving the great people with whom I have served for the past 25 years," ROSMILSO said. "With over 36 years in the business, it is time for me to step off the radio merry-go-round and hand the leadership over to my fellow CLEAR CHANNEL executives. I am confident that the DAVENPORT stations will have continued success and I know that the stations will continue to super-serve the needs of listeners and advertisers."
