Kalil Acquires Texas, Michigan Stations

KALIL HOLDING GROUP LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of broker KALIL AND CO. INC., is acquiring AC WBNZ (SOFT ROCK 99.3)/FRANKFORT, MI; Classic Country KMBV (LONESTAR FM)/NAVASOTA, TX; Classic Country KEZB (LONESTAR FM)/EDNA, TX; and Country trimulcast KTXM & KHLT-A/HALLETSVILLE, TX and KYKM/YOAKUM, TX (TEXAS THUNDER RADIO) from FORT BEND MEDIA BROADCASTING CO. and LAGRANGE BROADCASTING CORP. KALIL will turn around and offer the stations for sale after consummation of the deal.

JAMES L. PRIMM is selling Hot AC KAWV (KAUAI'S WAVE)/LIHUE, KAUAI, HI to HOCHMAN HAWAII FOUR INC. (GEORGE HOCHMAN and WILLIAM POORMAN [BILL SHIRK]) for $400,000 ($350,000 in a promissory note). The deal includes an LMA before closing.
In another deal filed with the FCC, HEARTLAND MINISTRIES sells the construction permit for W273AZ/DYERSBURG, TN to WAYMON E. BURKS' DR. PEPPER PEPSI-COLA BOTTLING CO. OF DYERSBURG INC. for $4,000. The buyer will rebroadcast the signal of its Hot AC WASL (SL-100)/DYERSBURG on the translator and has filed an application to modify the translator's coverage so it doesn't extend beyond the primary station's protected contour.
