Konami, Sony BMG Announce Digital Distribution Agreement

KONAMI DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT today (5/15) announced an agreement with SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT to digitally distribute KONAMI's library of songs from its diversified catalog of video games. Under the agreement, KONAMI's music will be available for download from major online retailers such as iTUNES and RHAPSODY, as well as a number of mobile service providers.
"Music has been at the foundation of KONAMI's games for decades, and now consumers will be able to enjoy these classic tunes on their own," said KONAMI Music Manager MICHAEL RAJNA. "SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT's strong digital distribution network allows us to reach the widest possible audience and bring KONAMI's library of industry-defining music to users on PCs and mobile devices."
