Halifax Host Pleads Guilty To Mischief

ROGERS COMMUNICATIONS Talk CJNI (NEWS 95.7)/HALIFAX; CKNI (NEWS 91.9)/MONCTON, NB; and CHNI (NEWS 88.9)/SAINT JOHN, NB 9a-noon "MARITIME MORNINGS" host ANDREW KRYSTAL pleaded guilty TUESDAY morning to mischief and disobeying a court order to abstain from possessing or consuming alcohol, reports the HALIFAX CHRONICLE HERALD. The Crown dropped assault and court order violation charges in exchange for the guilty plea.
KRYSTAL will be back in court on JULY 19 for sentencing, with the prosecution telling the paper that he will seek a sentence of 18 months' probation plus restitution. The charges arose from a domestic dispute with KRYSTAL's ex-girlfriend in JANUARY.
