CHERRY LANE MUSIC PUBLISHING has signed a long-term agreement with music production library APM MUSIC to provide music from CHERRY LANE's catalogues for APM's collection of musical genres, which are made available for licensing in film, television, advertising, radio, recording, games and new media.
Previously, CHERRY LANE, as music administrator for video-game publisher ELECTRONIC ARTS, negotiated a deal with APM in which tracks from the musical scores of EA's titles became available for licensing to the production community through APM. CHERRY LANE continues to administer this unique agreement.
CHERRY LANE SVP/Creative Services & Marketing RICHARD STUMPF said, "We started our relationship with APM by first putting music from NFL FILMS into their system. Then we did the same with EA's music. The results have been fantastic, so it is natural for us to choose APM as our exclusive long-term partner in the library world. Today, more than ever, there is an increased need for music that can be licensed easily for film, television, advertising and various media. CHERRY LANE is constantly looking for innovative opportunities to bring new life to our music and expand the reach of our audience. This relationship will greatly benefit CHERRY LANE's roster and add wonderful music to APM's unparalleled catalog."
APM Pres. ADAM TAYLOR said, "CHERRY LANE is a recognized leader in the music publishing business, and we are delighted that we now have this expanded relationship with them. We look forward to creating a co-branded library which offers CHERRY LANE clients the ability to participate in our service."
