At SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO's annual shareholder meeting, CEO MEL KARMAZIN admitted that he was "real unhappy" with the company's depressed stock price but said it isn't performing as poorly as rival/merger target XM SATELLITE RADIO. KARMAZIN blamed his company's woes on WALL STREET, saying that investors are maintaining a negative outlook despite subscriber growth.
Responding to a shareholder's question, KARMAZIN sais that the company had not talked to DON IMUS about joining the SIRIUS roster but called CBS RADIO's firing of the longtime syndicated morning man a "disgrace."
