Nova 106.9/Brisbane Host Withdraws Assault Complaint

What happened to Top 40 NOVA 106.9/BRISBANE morning co-host and TV personality DAVID LUTTERAL SUNDAY night? The mystery gets murkier after "LUTTSY," who landed in the hospital with a fractured skull, broken cheekbone and broken nose, initially claimed to have been attacked and left in the street in BRISBANE's Central Business District, withdrew his complaint to police after the police said they had reviewed surveillance video of the incident.
LUTTERAL was released from the hospital MONDAY, and the police say they will not release the information gleaned from the videotape for privacy reasons. In an appearance on the TEN NETWORK after his release from the hospital, LUTTERAL said he only has vague recollections of being at a nightclub and can't remember anything until waking up in the hospital.
And later TUESDAY, the TEN NETWORK said that the video footage shows LUTTERAL arguing with a woman at the JADE BUDDHA nightclub, later following as the woman left with two male companions. The network says that a man who confessed to punching the radio personality contacted police to tell his side of the story, and the club owner, PHILLIP HOGAN, told the TV station that the incident and its initial indictment of the CBD as unsafe, followed by LUTTERAL's withdrawal of the complaint, was annoying and "you would also have to wonder about the circumstances and the events that may have led up to it... If someone says that they were just king hit out of the blue, then yeah, that paints a picture that any poor innocent walking around the street can get belted for no reason."
