Noalmark Buys KBIM-A & F/Roswell, NM

KING BROADCASTING COMPANY INC. sells Talk KBIM-A and AC KBIM-F/ROSWELL, NM to NOALMARK BROADCASTING CORP. for $1.5 million cash. The deal requires a waiver of ownership limit rules because KBIM-F's city grade signal overlaps with its stations in HOBBS, NM, resulting in an area where the company will own five FMs. However, NOALMARK notes that the overlap area has a population of one.
And in another deal filed with the FCC, MISSION NEBRASKA INC. is buying three NEBRASKA FM translator construction permits from EDGEWATER BROADCASTING CO. for an aggregate $4,000. The three CPs are K233BS/CHADRON, NE; K237EI/OGALLALA, NE; and K257EC/SIDNEY, NE. The buyer will use the translators to rebroadcast its Religion KPNY (THE BRIDGE 102.1)/ALLIANCE, NE.
