GREATER MEDIA Classic Hits WROR/BOSTON has announced morning personalities LOREN OWENS and WALLY BRINE have renewed their contract for another long-term agreement at WROR. The show is now the longest-running morning team in BOSTON radio. The duo have been doing their show on the same frequency at 105.7 FM for the past 26 years.
"LOREN & WALLY have become so much more than a franchise morning radio show," said VP/Market Manager PHIL REDO. "They are part of the fabric of this community, raising money and awareness for charities and local causes as well as giving BOSTON listeners a lot to smile about every morning. It's an honor to work with them and I'm thrilled they will be with us going forward."
PD KEN WEST said, "Our listeners are always telling us they couldn't start their day without LOREN & WALLY. Now they won't have to."
"This is the first I've heard about it," said OWENS. "You'll be hearing from my lawyers."
BRINE commented, "We have contracts? Pass the mustard."
