The NEW YORK STATE FEDERATION OF HISPANIC CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE, a statewide advocate for Hispanic-owned businesses, voiced its support of the merger of SIRIUS and XM SATELLITE RADIO.

"The Hispanic marketplace is expanding at an unprecedented rate not only in large metropolitan areas, but in every remote corner of the nation," said NYSFHCC President ALFRED PLACERES, Esq. "We firmly believe that alternative news sources found in satellite radio have played a role in fueling this economic growth, and we strongly urge the merger's approval."
