Last week the 17th ANNUAL CITY OF HOPE SOFTBALL CHALLENGE was held in NASHVILLE at GREER STADIUM as the city got ready for the CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL. The GRAND OLE OPRY LIVE team nipped the AFTER MIDNITE WITH BLAIR GARNER team by 9-8. Some of the artists participating included CARRIE UNDERWOOD, BLUE COUNTY, CHELY WRIGHT and many more. All the money raised goes to CITY OF HOPE, which is a research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases.
Fans can still take part in the online auction and bit on unique collectibles signed by artists such as CARRIE UNDERWOOD, BROOKS & DUNN and TERRI CLARK by logging onto www.charityfolks.com.
