GREATER MEDIA/BOSTON's five radio stations will join together for the first time in BEANTOWN radio history to host an on-air radiothon to raise funds to benefit the newly constructed CAMP HARBOR VIEW. The project is a new partnership between the City of BOSTON, CAMP HARBOR VIEW FOUNDATION and BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS of BOSTON, and its mission is to provide a safe, dynamic and challenging summer camp experience for BOSTON youth between the ages of 11-14.
The day long on-air and online fundraising effort will take place on THURSDAY, JUNE 28 from 6a-7p.
"GREATER MEDIA strongly believes in supporting the community," said Pres./CEO PETER SMYTH. "I'm very honored to be able to help JACK CONNERS and Mayor MENINO in giving back to the City of BOSTON."
"This is our home and this effort is important," said VP/Market Manager PHIL REDO. "We are happy to be in a position to jump in quickly to help raise money and awareness for this wonderful initiative."
