FCC Fines: Public File Troubles, Wrong Location

KITZ RADIO INC. gets slapped by the FCC with two separate fines of $2,400 each for incomplete public files at its co-located Talk simulcast KGTK-A/OLYMPIA, WA and KITZ-A/SILVERDALE, WA (MEGATALK 1400). The fines were reduced from $4,000 each due to a history of compliance with the rules.
The Commission has also fined DEL ROSARIO TALPA INC. $3,200 for operating Regional Mexican KNCR-A (LA NUEVA 1090)/FORTUNA-EUREKA, CA from an antenna two miles away from its licensed location. The fine was reduced from $4,000 due to a history of compliance with the rules.
