CMT's Melanie Moreau Elevated To VP/Development

CMT NETWORK has elevated MELANIE MOREAU to VP/Development and she will continue to operate from CMT's LOS ANGELES office. MOREAU, who joined CMT in 2003, will be responsible for the creation, development, and production of new original entertainment programming for the network. CMT head of development BOB KUSBI said, "MELANIE’s innovative programming approach has been integral to the growth of CMT’s development slate. She is a proven hit-maker, and we’re excited to see what new ideas she brings to our expanding slate.”
MOREAU joined the company in 2003 and since has helmed the hit series DALLAS COWBOY CHEERLEADERS: MAKING THE TEAM, TRICK MY TRUCK, and THE ULTIMATE COYOTE UGLY SEARCH. MOREAU has 20 years experience in television and prior to joining CMT she was VP/Development for GREYSTONE TELEVISION, where she developed projects for COMEDY CENTRAL, BRAVO, DISCOVERY HEALTHY, FX and VH1.
