GENE PETERSON and JIM FOLEY, the radio voices of HOUSTON ROCKETS basketball for 32 years, will do one final season and then retire after the 2007-08 NBA season, according to the HOUSTON CHRONICLE's DAVID BARRON. PETERSON and FOLEY have inked one-year extensions to do one more campaign before exiting.
"I don't want to go from the ROCKETS to the grave," FOLEY told BARRON. "I just think it's time. It's time to move along."
The ROCKETS are heard on CBS Sports KILT-A/HOUSTON.
