As ALL ACCESS reported (NET NEWS 6/26), yesterday’s Internet Radio protest, it’s "Day of Silence," generated a great deal of publicity and activity on SAVENETRADIO.ORG that overwhelmed their servers. Congressional office switchboards also apparently received significant floods of calls.
BRIDGE RATINGS is in the midst of a field study that has been underway since yesterday’s "Day of Silence" intended to determine the impact of Internet radio’s silence. The first release of data related to yesterday’s Internet radio listenership shows a significant reduction in the number of listeners to Internet radio.
They’ve published the first charts of this on www.bridgeratings.com.
