Digital-media distributor MUSICRYPT INC. appoints GARRY WALLACE Sr. VP/Sales. WALLACE became President/CEO of TELEPANEL SYSTEMS in 2000 and is a director of CIUT radio based at the UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO and of web search marketing firm AVALANCHE NETWORKS.
In addition, advertising entrepreneur LEN GILL has been elected to the MUSICRYPT Board of Directors to replace GERRY LACOURSIERE, who is retiring after eight years. GILL founded ECHO ADVERTISING and was its Chairman/CEO for 26 years; he founded TWENTY6TWO INT'L in 2005.
Also, Exec. VP/Global Marketing CHRIS MONTGOMERY is exiting to pursue other strategic opportunities in the music industry.
"We are fortunate to have someone with GARRY WALLACE's experience as a top sales executive join our team, plus LEN GILL will bring significant expertise in the advertising space as we move into that exciting new vertical," MUSICRYPT President/CEO JOHN HEAVEN said. "GERRY LACOURSIERE has been a director from the beginning, and his input at the boardroom table will be sorely missed. CHRIS MONTGOMERY has made a valuable contribution to the growth of MUSICRYPT, and we wish him continued success in his future endeavors."
