Much like everywhere in the country the pre-sale hype for the IPHONE has reached a fever pitch. No different in ATLANTA. With that, CUMULUS Top 40 WWWQ (Q100) morning nuts THE BERT SHOW sent their associate producer, HOSS, down to an AT&T store yesterday to get the first place in line.
After spending the night camped out THE BERT SHOW was willing to giveaway his position in line to a listener with the best barter item. Keep in mind, THE BERT SHOW wasn't paying for the phone. They were just giving away the position ultimately guaranteeing that the winning bidder would be one of the first in the city to purchase the IPHONE. The winner paid HOSS $2,000 for his position in line.
Some of the items desperate listeners called in with were free liposuction, a weeklong stay at any hotel in the world and a free stay at a beachfront condo in VERO BEACH. One woman called in and wanted to barter her 200 pound Great Dane in exchange for his place in line.
