Emap Sells Irish Stations

EMAP PLC is selling its radio stations in IRELAND to DENIS O'BRIEN's COMMUNICORP for 200 million euros. The stations include national Top 40 TODAY FM, Rock FM104/DUBLIN, and local COUNTY DONEGAL (NORTH) AC/Country/Dance HIGHLAND RADIO. EMAP has owned the stations since 2005.
COMMUNICORP already owns Rock 98FM, Talk NEWSTALK, and Top 40 SPIN 103.8/DUBLIN, and O'BRIEN has an interest in AC/Talk EAST COAST FM/COUNTY WICKLOW.
